Captain Kirk wants to Send You DVDs

OK, I had to share this with you all...this is funny. Basically, for $4 a month, William Shatner's DVD Club will send you a DVD of William Shatner's choice every month...oh...and here's the good part. You get to KEEP IT. You don't get to pick what it is...but you get to keep it!! Isn't that exciting?!

As crazy as this sounds...it prompted me to write about it, which is publicity. I'm tempted to pay $4 a month, just so I can tell all of you what fantastic Sci-Fi and Horror Movies that William Shatner has sent me...it would be a monthly feature I could call, "DVDs From My Friend Bill". If someone signs up, you HAVE to tell me what the first DVD is.

I'll take a raincheck on the William Shatner movie recommendations for now, although I must admit that my curiousity is piqued. I tried to watch "Alexander, The Director's Cut" the other night. Brian left the room to fold clothes five minutes into it. Even Angelina Jolie couldn't entice him to endure the terrible dialogue, make-up, acting, etc. Being more stubborn than Brian, I vowed to give it a chance in case it "picked up". I was in sorting socks before the first battle scene. "Alexander" will be returned unviewed to Netflix! Anyway, should anybody that you know sign up for the WS DVD club I'd be delighted in hearing what titles are included!

Brian thinks that needle-felted versions of your characters would be more detailed and fast to do than their knitted counterparts. Sounds like a challenge for after the New Years!

Ohhh...it sounds like Heide is going to make needle-felted versions of my characters! Maybe we'll sell them on my site! What's "needle-felt"? This is exciting!
