I'm Sirius
OK, so now I've gone and done it. Every morning I drive to work...Katharine is with me for half the ride...the other half, the radio keeps me company. More and more, I'm annoyed with the chatter of morning radio...and it's dumb chatter 90% of the time...on every broadcast station, the morning DJs try to be funny, but they can't be funny because if they're REALLY funny, the FCC will fine them. Not to say they can't be funny and "clean" at the same time, but they're trying to be shock jocks in a "clean" format. It makes for boring morning radio...and if I can't stand that morning chatter...if the DJs are going to suck, I at least want to listen to music...sadly they're only playing one song in between all the crappy talk talk talk. So I'm turning to satellite radio...they actually have music...and bye bye censorship. No more FCC interference in freedom of speech...freedom of enjoyment...because too many people didn't understand that there's freedom to change the station if you don't like what you're hearing. So hello Sirius and goodbye blather of broadcast.

We picked up XM Radio for Brian about a year ago and he loves it. I'd venture to say that he'd take it from a burning house before rescuing the kitties (of course he'd get the kiddies first). Anyway, the comedy routines are pretty good a lot of times. He records things he hears on the way home. Enjoy! Heide
I can't wait to get mine! Can't wait! I'll have to report on how good it is when I've used it for a week or two! Good to know someone that loves it...even if the kitties do have to suffer for it.
;-)
When your house burns down, you will rescue Lily first. Hear?
Thank you for saying WHEN our house burns down and not IF. Are you planning something that we should know about? I think the plan is...Katharine gets the animals out (Lily AND Monty) and I grab the computers. Anything else we can get in the 5 remaining minutes after that...Katharine will take her shoes (maybe a couple of books) and I'll grab all my DVDs in a garbage bag. Really, that's all we would need.
Lily and Monty first!!! Both get crammed into the car and then I run around hysterical and grab useless items like scotch tape and cereal... oh, and I grab the CPU and Jeff is on laptop duty. :-)
