Turkey Comes But Once a Year
Why is it that we (at least if you're reading this from the United States) typically only eat turkey and all the crap that goes with turkey, on Thanksgiving...or Christmas...you know...typically on a holiday? When people eat turkey, they eat as much turkey as they can possible jam in their stomachs because they're not going to see it again until the next holiday. Is that necessary? Do all the turkeys of the world have to be left alone the rest of the year so we have enough for Thanksgiving? Maybe we eat SO MANY of them on this holiday that there aren't any the rest of the year. I don't know what it is, but every year I say that I'm going to make it more often...then I forget about it. This year, I made my turkey on Sunday and we've had turkey all week at my house. We're not following the rules this year. It's turkey and satellite radio this year for Thanksgiving! Did I mention that satellite radio rules!? Everyone should have it! I've had it for a week and I'm addicted. Oh, right...turkey...we made our turkey for this year, so we'll have to go out to eat on Thanksgiving Day...we have reservations already. What'll be on the menu? Why...turkey of course. Why would we want anything else? Happy Thanksgiving all...don't forget the buy your Maalox Max before the local drug store closes for the holiday!

AND Satellite radio has *my* music... there is Hair Nation which is all the old hair bands from the 80's and there is also a metal station. Nothing but angry, loud, thumping metal music 24/7. I think I may have died and gone to heaven!
