Battlestar Galactica vs Star Wars
About a year ago, I posted a statement about the Battlestar Galactica curtains that I had when I was a teenager and how much they sucked because they weren't Star Wars curtains. The last remaining evidence of those Galactica curtains is here (from 1986):
Now it's 2006 and it's all changed. The new Star Wars movies were released and they were less than they should have been. The new Battlestar Galactica series is now showing on Sci-Fi and it blows away any new Star Wars that has come out. So, although the old Battlestar series will always suck ass in my heart; if I were 14 years old again, I would welcome the NEW Battlestar curtains over the NEW Star Wars curtains. Maybe I'll put those on the wedding registry...Katharine will love them.

I am so making you BSG curtains. Just need to find some fabric...
My complaint about the new BSG series is that it comes on way too late. Staying up past 10:00 is a challenge, even on a Friday (I'm old). Someday maybe we'll get Tivo or some such technology in our house (we don't even own a vcr anymore) and I'll be able to watch it without nodding off midway. BTW, the curtains are way cool!

Ohh...thanks Hope! BSG curtains for my office window so I can watch shows at lunch without hanging a coat in front of the window!
Heide...no worries. The show is out on DVD, so when the time comes that you're ready to watch it...you won't have to wait week after week for resolution. I didn't know it was on so late...I haven't caught up to Sci-fi yet!
What is up with the animal suits? Please, please tell me this isn't going into the world of strange fetishes! Aack!
