A Regular Plain Old Toothbrush
For the past few years, I've been using the Braun Oral-B ProfessionalCare battery operated toothbrush and my dentist has reported in the past two visits that I didn't have any cavities. Last week, Katharine picked up a couple of cheapy CVS manual toothbrushes (because the replacement heads for the battery one are something like $20 and payday hasn't come yet) and for 7 days, I've been using that. I forgot what it was like to use a regular MANUAL toothbrush and I think I've gotten lazy.

don't do it! coke blak gave me pneumonia! (i kid you not) my boss pressured me into trying it (“she'll try it. she likes weird drinks with caffeine in them”) and i was all, “that's funny, this tastes like fake sugar. oh look at that, it IS full of fake sugar. too bad i'm allergic to that. damn.” i was sick within hours. i held him in a vice grip of guilt for WEEKS after the xrays proved it to be pneumonia.
AND it wasn't even worth it for the taste - it's neither the goodness of the caffeine of coffee nor the 'refreshing' taste of coke (if you like that kind of thing).
i, too, have been plagued by the curse of the normal toothbrush, since my electric one died (after less than a year, too!). i miss its sonic waves of goodness. i feel your pain, man.
Coke Blak doesn't have REAL sugar?! {gasp} Who knew? It's not called DIET Coke Blak, although I'm sure that's next. Geez...pneumonia...here on referred to as The Coke Blak Plague and no electric toothbrush to brush the pneumonia out of your lungs. Sounds pretty bad to me.
Coke Blak Plague now referred to as CBP
