Our Fresh Veggies...and Other Tales of Things We Hope We Can Grow
So the patio isn't done, but at least we got the garden planted. It's been a while since I've grown fresh vegetables...love to pull those fresh tomatoes off the vine and eat them. Got some green beans going...some peppers and cucumbers too. We'll see what happens. Well, we might see what happens if we can actually grow anything here. We're trying to grow out vegetables in window boxes two stories above the ground. It's safe from animals this way and we don't have to worry about our soil being unfit for planting.

Knowing Katharine's unbridled appetite for vegitables, you may need to be quick on your feet to sample the fruits of your labors.
Hi Jeff: All my tomatoe plants are in pots on my side deck, they are looking pretty good. Joel had to replant his radish plants because he didn't use potting soil like I suggested, but now he's on the right track. I'll let you know how they do. Tomatoes did great last year on the deck, so I'm hoping these do as well.
